Question by Lauris: What is ‘Kangen’ water and is it really that great?
Somebody recently told me about the special water called Kangen on the Water To Heal site. They said it does wonders for your health and actually can heal diseases, etc. I’ve never heard of it.
Has anyone tried this water?

It is just another scam designed only to take your money and make somebody rich.
There have been various “water cures” over the years, the latest version is that ionized or alkalinized water has ill defined “healing properties”. There is absolutely no credible evidence to support this. (actually, some of them aren’t ill defined, they are quite specific and detailed….just complete nonsense.)

Question by Peace69: What is the validity of water with more alkalinity helping get rid of toxicity & preventative against cancer?
I’ve noticed that I have felt better drinking high alkaline water. It could be a placebo effect, but I feel that my energy is higher during those days. I want to mainly know from a scientific perspective is this the case or are people possibly trying to sell water at a higher price with a “snake oil” sales pitch. If there is evidence of this showing health benefits, what is the best alkaline water on sale? Is there a way that a home system can create purified/alkaline water at home? What is the optimal alkaline pH for water that gives the most benefit?

There are web sites selling expensive machines that ionize water and convert the PH to alkaline. Drinking this water is supposed to be healthy and cures all sorts of ailments including arthritis and cancer.

Yet, there are web sites that appear to be scientific that dispels these claims as myth. These web sites claim that there is no such thing as ionized water since basically water is water. What is the real story behind this?

Hello,
it is perhaps not the claims put forward by ogranisations whose supporters profess them repetitively, almost obsessively these days about health and other related products with health benefits that keep diseases from striking us.

Perhaps you might like to take life less seriously, and I’m not saying being ‘bo chap’ or ‘don’t care attitude’ either. Taking this approach isn’t easy either. A lot of life also isn’t ‘either-or’, ‘black-and-white’.
