Question by lbw1969: Does Alkaline water leave an acid ‘ash’ in the body?
If we drink a glass of water with lemon added, although the lemon is acid, health people say it makes our bodies (at a cellular level), more alkaline by leaving an alkaline ‘ash’ – so then, what does alkaline water do to us? I see lots of companies selling drops that turn your drinking water to p.H. 9 – but surely if the acidic lemon has an alkaline effect, does the alkaline water have an acid effect on our bodies?

I read on one article that when alkaline water is boiled some of its mineral are deactivated and its reducing power is decrease. Is this really what happen? THanks!

I’m buying alkaline water that comes from a deep well in Luquillo, Puerto Rico and what I have read is that the alkaline water is produced either by special drops in normal water or by filtering machines (very expensive by the way) , so I have doubts about the water I’m buying. How can I know if this water is really alkaline? Is their a any other option?

“Alkaline water” is part of a large internet scam. Most water obtained from boreholes is alkaline, I hear of people who spend huge amounts of money for a small bottle of what other people call tap water.

Any acid/alkaline health info you’ve read on the net is in fact total rubbish.
