Athena is knock off, cuts platinum and motor, mesh is crap, 2200, it works but its inferior. Mesh plates are an option on LIFE Ionizers, an added cost and LIFE machines with mesh technology are warranted for life, thats right, not 3 not 5 years, for life and its included in the price.

.Ionways mesh electrodes wear fast. Here are engineering facts. With Athena and Life ionizers, water passes irregularly over mesh. Water passes evenly over a flat electrode. Heat is evenly distributed. When water passes unevenly – as it must – over an uneven mesh plate, theres uneven heat distribution.. Thats why one area of the mesh electrode will unevenly wear out faster than another area. Stay with durable flat Japanese platinum electrodes as found in Enagic and Hydroanalytics units.

My wife and I bought this ionizing machine and we’ve been using it with the following results: (a) her allergies stopped immediately upon drinking alkaline water (they haven’t returned since) and (b) I no longer have gout if I regularly drink my alkaline water (gout arises usually due to over-acidity in the body). These facts speak for themselves.
